Did you know that in 2017 the Government of Canada officially designated the second Sunday in September as the Firefighter’s National Memorial Day? Help us honour those who lost their lives in the line of duty on Sunday, September 8th, 2019.

When you are in Ottawa attending Wildland Fire Canada 2019, please consider making the short 1 km walk from the Delta Ottawa City Centre Hotel to the Canadian Firefighter’s Memorial at the corner of Wellington and Lett. Stop by the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s vendor booth at our conference to learn more about the organization and get directions to the memorial.

The CFFF (Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation) is a registered charity with a mission to honour and remember firefighters, including wildland firefighters, killed in the line of duty and support their families. Please visit www.cfff.ca for more information.
